Remove Hotbar

Hotbar is recognized as an adware program by Webroot Spy Sweeper. This program is offered as a toolbar with 2 different versions. The free version is supported by Adware that may display paid advertisements. Their paid version does not include any adware. Hotbar will add lots of animations, and backgrounds to your email. You can even send "FREE" eCards from your email client. It is also possible that Hotbar can hijack your internet searches. The toolbar Sounds like a great offer, but after reading their "Terms of Use" statement, they tell you that you are giving them the right to collect and store information about the sites you visit when using the free version. Sounds harmless, but the good part is now they can use this information to custom tailor adds to display in your browser while you are surfing the internet because their "Terms of Use" say so. Please read the hotbar terms of use for the full explanation of what you are allowing them to do. We do recommend that you use Webroot Spy Sweeper to fully remove the free version if you have installed it on your computer.

Hotbar Removal

You can remove hotbar manually by downloading their uninstaller". You can also try removing it yourself by going into your add/remove programs and look for a program named "Hotbar" or something similiar. After removing the program their is some additional cleanup to be done. Start by clicking "Start" from the lower left hand corner, choose run, and then type in "regedit". Look for the following registry keys and delete them:
