Remove NetPal

NetPal is an application that gets installed on your internet explorer toolbar as a browser helper object. This product may track your internet surfing activity and present ads to you as you surf the internet and may also change your internet explorer settings. The program may even slow down your internet connection. We recommend if you do not feel comfortable manually removing Netpal, that Webroot does identify Netpal as a browser helper object that should be removed from your computer. You can use their spyware removal software free for 14 days.

To remove NetPal manually, follow the below instructions:

  1. Locate netpal.dll
  2. You will need to run regsvr32 netpal.dll /u (Go to a command prompt and change to the current directory of the dll before running regsvr32)
  3. Locate the following registry entries and delete them:
    • Delete the registry key - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Destiny
