Weatherscope is free application that provides weather information to you from your computer. They state that for the free use, you will from time to time receive popups in the form of adware while browsing the internet. The product may track your internet surfing activity and send this information back to their servers. While they claim to not have any personnal information, you will notice a slow down with your internet connection

You can remove Weatherscope manually or have Webroot Spy Sweeper the #1 spyware protection software remove this program because it does recognize it as Adware.

To remove Weatherscope manually, follow the below instructions:

1. From your task manager, you will need to kill the following processes:
• weatherscopesetup.exe
• weatherscope.exetrickler4010_bic_gatorws_4010.exe
• weatherscope.exe
• weatherscopesetup.extractme.exe
2. Look for the following registry entries and delete them if found:
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\moduleusage \c:/windows/downloaded program files/iegator4128.dll
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\weatherscope
3. Remove the following files if present:
• weatherscopesetup.exe
• website.url
• iegator4127.dllcatdb
• edb.chk
• edb.log
• gatorplugin.log
• install.log
• layout.ini
• setupapi.log
• trickler4010_bic_gatorws_4010-1f61069b.pf
• trickler4010_bic_gatorws_4010.exe
• weatherscopesetup.exe-2c18f6ad.pf
• weatherscopesetup.extractme.exe
4. Delete the following directory if found:
• program_files\weatherscope
