Spyware Removal - Newsletter - April 7th

Have you noticed how popular spyware removal is becoming these days? Everytime I talk to one of my friends, I hear someone complaining about all the popup advertisements from adware they are getting on their computer, or that their web browser home page keeps changing . It seems that over the past year, it has become very important to purchase a good program to remove spyware from your computer. I like to use Webroot Spy Sweeper.......... try a spyware removal scan for free and see what has been installed on your computer.

It was reported in E-Commerce Times that "Spyware is a byproduct of peer-to-peer file-sharing. People are generally unaware of how easily spyware gets into their computers," said Jerry Periolat, president of Apreo Software, whose products help employers inventory legal copies of software and block file-sharing applications. The programs required to participate in peer-to-peer networks do not just help people share music files. "They share whatever they can find on the hard drive and the network". I always like to point our that nothing is free.  Peer-to-Peer networks have become great breeding grounds for spyware.  These networks keep spyware removal programs an important tool for anyone who owns a computer.

Even Microsoft these days seems to be taking spyware and adware serious.  Newsday.com reported "Is Microsoft finally going to get its act together on security?  The spate of worms, viruses, Trojans, along with assorted spyware, adware and browser hijackers, has been swelling in the past year, and the world's largest software house says it is going to do something about the problem. Enter Service Pack 2, for Windows XP, available in beta form on the Microsoft Web site, and due out officially by the end of the summer. Now if Microsoft is getting serious about spyware removal, so should you!
